Robin Lind, aged 74, of Pitt Meadows passed away peacefully at Maple Ridge Hospital on July 22, 2023. He is survived by his brother Ken Lind; son Derek Lind (Janine), grand-daughter Ruby; daughter Tanya Humphries (Mike) and grand-daughter Sierra. Rob also leaves behind many close friends and family.

Rob was born in New Westminster on November 13, 1948 to Hugo and Harriet Lind. Growing up in Coquitlam he enjoyed playing sports and particularly soccer. Coaching became an important role for Rob through the years with his son’s soccer teams, as well as his daughter’s softball team.

Rob developed a love of gardening from his father Hugo and turned his landscaping skills into a career of making his client’s lawns and ponds immaculate. Rob was a huge Boston Bruins fan and rarely missed a game. He also loved all types of music and was an avid Karaoke singer.

Rob was the master of the pun and loved to laugh and joke around. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Meadow Highlands recreation hall, 11892 Ponderosa Blvd, Pitt Meadows. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Pitt Meadows Friends in Need Food Bank would be Rob’s choice and much appreciated.

Tribute for Rob

Rob was a wonderful former neighbour, and heart connected friend. He spoke at my husband's celebration of life just last year which was so very special. Always the consummate jokester bringing 'laughter is the best medicine' to a new height for those all around. The memories and the man are treasured! All my love enfolds every family member on the journey going forward and I send
Angel Blessings to each and everyone who will miss Rob's Light.
Most Sincerely, Penny D.
