Renate Piollé

August 10, 1949 – April 10, 2026 ✝️

With deep sadness and love, we announce the peaceful passing of Renate Piollé on April 10, 2026, at 2:53 p.m., surrounded by the love of her family.

Renate was a truly remarkable woman whose kindness, warmth, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a gentle spirit and a caring heart, always putting others before herself. Whether through a thoughtful gesture, a comforting word, or simply her presence, she had a beautiful way of making people feel seen, supported, and loved.

Renate was also a devoted hairdresser, a profession she truly loved. Through her work, she formed many lifelong friendships and connections. She took great pride in helping others feel their best, always wanting everyone who sat in her chair to leave feeling confident, cared for, and beautiful. Where ever she worked from; her clients would follow —it was a space filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine connection.

She will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Luc; her loving daughter, Melissa; and her adored granddaughters, Élise and Emilia, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Her family was the center of her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to guide and inspire them.

Renate’s life was one of compassion, selflessness, and quiet strength. She gave so much of herself to others, and in doing so, created lasting memories that will be held close in the hearts of family and friends alike.

We are deeply grateful for the time we shared with her and for the love she gave so freely. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.

We will honour her memory through a Celebration of Life and Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at St. Francis de Sales Parish (6610 Balmoral Street, Burnaby).
