Post a Tribute

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Keith Deevy at age 93.

Keith proudly joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in 1953, at just 18 years of age. Over the course of an impressive 35 year career, he served with distinction, retiring in 1988 at the rank of Superintendent.

Following his retirement from the RCMP, Keith continued his service to Canada, spending another 5 years with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), before beginning a well-earned retirement.

Keith and his beloved wife Della embraced their retirement years to the fullest. Together, they enjoyed extensive travel, golf, walking, and, most importantly, spending time with family and friends.

Keith was predeceased by his mother Sadie Muldoon, his father Charles, his sister Marg, and his brother Roland.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Della, his sons Chris (Sandra) and Brian (Sandy), and daughter Cathy.  He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Amanda, Jason, Chris, Sarah, Sean, Brandon, and Jessica, and great-grandchildren Lincoln, Jessica and Harlow.

Keith was an incredible man who made a positive impact on all those fortunate enough to know him.

He was deeply loved, and he will be greatly missed.

Funeral Mass:  Good Shepherd Parish (2250 150 Street, Surrey) Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM.  Reception to follow.
