June 26th, 1930 - May 23rd, 2025
Post a Tribute

Beloved Wife, Mother, Granny and Great-Granny. Kathleen passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She was a gentle, strong and loving presence for all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, music and being with her family, always making time for a chat in her kitchen when people would drop in to visit. She loved animals, especially birds. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, she worked as a lab technician. She was a passionate advocate for women facing unplanned pregnancies and worked tirelessly for prolife causes. She worked in Birthright and was one of the founding members of Campaign Life Coalition and the Family Coalition Party.

Her Christian faith was always strong, and she prayed daily for her friends and relatives in the Rosary. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Mark Toth. She is survived by her 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren as well as her five children: Paula Seibel (Dan), Kathleen Higgins (John), Chris Toth, Pat Toth (Sasa) and Gavin Toth (Josephine).

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (8842 119th Street, North Delta, B.C.) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14th, 2025. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Headford Cultural Group (www.headford.ca) or Campaign Life Coalition (www.campaignlifecoalition.com

A great woman who was a powerhouse of prayer and purpose. To the memory of her husband of 66 years too - Mark Toth+. My favourite on-line conversation of June 26, 2024. "Happy Birthday Kathleen - keeping it lit, as always!
Kathleen: Thank you John, things are a little slower when you turn 94!🙏
John: Then a slow burn will do, lass!
Kathleen 👍"

May her memory be eternal.

Although I haven’t seen, “Auntie Kathy” for close to 40 years, I recognized her photo immediately, and it brought both a smile and fond memories. She and Uncle Mark were good friends with my parents, and we spent many holidays and family gatherings together.
Rest at Peace
