A poem to bid my dear friend Helen a good bye

"A fleeting moment, a lasting memory
We shared laughter, tears, and sweet melody
Our time together, a treasured find
Little did we know, our goodbye was left behind

Your smile still lingers, your voice still clear
The memories we made, I hold them dear
Though your departure came, too soon, too fast
Our bond remains strong, forever to last

In those final days, we lived and loved and grew
Our friendship shone bright, in all we did and knew
Though death has taken you, from my side
In my heart, our friendship will never subside

Rest now, my dear friend Helen , may your soul find peace
Know that our memories, my heart will always release."

A TRIBUTE TO A WONDERFUL FRIEND

"Just days ago, we shared laughter, stories, and memories that I thought would be the start of many more to come. But fate had other plans.

Your sudden departure leaves me with a mix of emotions - gratitude for the time we had, sorrow for the time we won't get, and cherished memories of our last moments together.

I'm so thankful for the joy you brought to my life in those final days. Your smile, your jokes, and your presence lit up my world.

Though your time with me was cut short, your impact on my life will never fade. You reminded me to appreciate every moment, big or small.

Rest in peace sister helen. Our last goodbye was too soon, but I'll hold on to the memories we made until we meet again."

I am so deeply saddened for this loss of Helen, such a beautiful soul. She brought the light wherever she went. Her great smile and wonderful laughter. Her close bond to her family in Nigeria and wonderful friends she made here in B C.
We'll meet again
But until then
I'll remember all your good years
Your laughter and your tears
I'll remember how you came through it all
Standing so tall
Never complaining, you were too tough to fall
I will remember how you had time for a friend, a smile, a helping hand
You were a big big hearted person
I'll remember all the funny things you used to say and do and all the wonderful times we shared too
I will remember from day to day and I just want to say, we will meet again but until then
Thanks for being my friend

Helen, the Lord bless her soul, was a close family friend who seized on every available opportunity to show and demonstrate love. She is one of the kindest persons I have known. She is very quiet, loving, easy going and friendly. Always willing to be of help and share. We will miss her in my family. Adieus dear Helen we love you but God loves you more. Rest well in the bosom of the Lord. Fondly remembered by Mathew and Ada Ocholi.
