It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe Umberto Panni on June 24, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy, Giuseppe immigrated to Canada in 1966 and made Vancouver his home.

A skilled bricklayer, tile setter, and carpenter, he was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and willingness to help others. He took great pride in building homes, supporting family and friends, and sharing his talents with those around him.

Giuseppe enjoyed gardening, making wine, travelling, dancing, camping, fishing, and hosting family gatherings.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and loyal friend who will be remembered for his hard work ethics, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He worked tirelessly to ensure his loved ones were always cared for, supported, and provided for.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Giovanna; his daughters, Paola and Daianna; his son-in-law Dave; his brother, Galliano and his wife Silvana; his nieces Laura, Sandra, Maria,  Maria-Luisa, Maria-Rosa, Vicky, Rosie, and Manuela; his nephews Sandro, Alessio, Mario, Kenny and Savio; his uncle Augusto and his wife Antonietta; many cousins, dear friends, extended family members and relatives related by marriage.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
