CHACE, Gilbert (Gil)  1947-2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share Gil's passing on April 28, 2025. Gil was predeceased by his father Edward (Ted) and mother Marguerite. He is survived by his wife Shelley, brothers John (Ethel), Robert (Carol), children Kyle, Kelsey (Dan), Jason, Christopher (Samantha) and five cherished grandchildren.

Gil's love of life touched all who knew him and he will be fondly remembered for his boisterous laughter and quick-witted humour. He enjoyed the outdoors and would take his daily walks in the park with his best friend Zoe, a yellow labrador retriever that he loved dearly. Part of their ashes will be combined and scattered along their favourite walking trail.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for the compassionate care Gil received at Langley Memorial Hospital.

At Gil's request, no service will be held.
