David Michael Johnson died peacefully on May 17, 2025 at Peace Arch hospital, White Rock, British Columbia, at age 83.  David is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Lillian Johnson, father Harold Roy Johnson of 0ld Barns, Truro Nova Scotia. David is survived by his estranged wife Linda Martin and son Brian. Also survived by his siblings : brother Gregory Johnson of (Mission),  sister Maria-Lynn,  Marc (Revelstoke), sister Valerie (Ottawa) , sister Cathy Taylor (Andrew) Coquitlam.  

David graduated from Central Colchester High School outside of Truro, NS in 1959.  David left his family home in Old Barns and traveled west to Grand Prairie at a young age and tried his hand as a restaurant owner.  He left the restaurant enterprise and then settled in Coquitlam where he worked for Hertz Rental and then with BC transit as a bus driver operator for several years. David collected art, enjoyed boating, owned a cottage in Port Roberts for a while and enjoyed meeting up with his buddies at a local Coquitlam restaurant.

David was an avid collector of just about anything. The family has chosen cremation with no funeral.
