Benedicta “Benny” Tribbeck passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the age of 82.

Born on March 17, 1944, in the Philippines, Benny carried with her a deep sense of faith, compassion, and warmth throughout her life. In 1980, she moved to Canada, where she began a new chapter after marrying her beloved husband, David, and later welcoming their daughter, Joanne.

Benny was a woman whose life was defined by generosity and love. Devoted to her faith and her family, she was a loyal and trusted friend to many. She had a gift for bringing people together—often through her cooking—always ready to prepare a meal and open her home to anyone in need. Her kindness, joyful spirit, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Though she had one daughter, Benny was a mother figure to many. Over the years, she built a wide and loving circle of friends in Canada who became like family, while remaining deeply cherished by relatives in the Philippines and across the world.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, David; her daughter, Joanne; her son-in-law, Simon; and her beloved grandchildren, Evan, Gwen, and Lucy.

Benny’s life was a testament to love, faith, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
