Our lovely Maddie left us for the big ballroom in the sky.

‘Nanny’ lived her life on her terms and left exactly the same way.  With strength, determination and bravery. All while surrounded by her loves, her family.

We are so grateful for Dr. Fung and his MAID team at SMH who helped expedite mom's journey through pain to peace and comfort.  Also thank you Raquel in Acute 3. There truly are nurses who do angels work amongst us and you are all so appreciated.

We will do our best to dance and travel and sing our way through the rest of our days in her honour. Mom cherished her time in her garden too.  The ‘jewel of the neighbourhood’ as her neighbours call it.  Our family home has been one of gathering and celebration over 3 generations. We are eternally grateful that we were able to keep mom in her beloved home until the final few days.

Mom will be dearly missed by many, all who were touched by her in their own special ways. Mom to 2, grandmother to 3, Maddie to many and nanny to all.

Bless her life….and as she joked… she was ready for her closeup and she was ♥️🎁🥂💃🥰

Mom, you are forever and always in our hearts. We love you.

Private family service - in lieu of flowers please consider a donation in mom's honour to a charity of your choice.

Some of my fondest memories are of Maddie. She was my friend, my mentor, my teacher, and my employer. She was inspiring. I am always grateful & still in awe of her brilliant being. Sending love to Howard, Sherry & families. Heaven has gained a bright, sparkling star to shine down on us all. ✨️
