Hal passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2024. He had been in full time care for 15 months at Fort Langley Seniors Community where he was well looked after by caring nurses and staff. His sense of humour never deserted him and he joked with the staff and with us until the end.
From an early age Hal was interested in all things mechanical, especially cars, and was a member of the Vintage Car Club of Canada for 57 years, as well as the Totem Model A&T Ford Club and ACD (Cord) club. He owned various cars over the years and loved driving them to club events, tours, and shows. He preferred touring holidays so the family have great memories of travel and camping around BC and many US states. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring player pianos and other antique musical boxes. Through these hobbies he met many friends and enthusiasts internationally.
Loved and greatly missed by Ann, Lynda, Joanne, Naomi (Kem), many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Murrayville Community Hall, 21667 48th Avenue, Langley.
