Memorials and Celebration of Life w/Reception (from $4,785)
A Memorial or Celebration of Life typically occurs after cremation (or burial) has taken place. A Memorial or Celebration of Life is an event which blends some of the formal aspects of a funeral with other informal elements. There may be prayers and shared stories along with tributes and a slide show. It is a time to laugh, cry, and remember a life well lived.
A Memorial or Celebration of Life is often followed by a reception.
Arbutus Funeral Service can assist with a service held at any venue, however, we have exclusive access to The Osborn Chapel in Maple Ridge where clergy or a celebrant lead the guests through speeches, readings, songs, tributes, or a slide show.
