I own a cemetery plot in a privately owned cemetery do I have to use their funeral home?

The answer simply is no.  You may use the funeral home of your choice regardless of where your cemetery plot is located.  Often private cemeteries are part of a corporate entity and many own their own funeral homes.  The service advisor will want to refer or take you to their funeral home if arrangements for the funeral are not in place.  It is best to compare what is offered by the different funeral homes, as time permits, before proceeding.  Family owned funeral homes will normally offer many of the same caskets, urns and grave markers.   Arbutus Funeral Service works with all cemeteries, please call us to obtain any further information about cremation or funeral services.
